The Brooklyn Transfer Station is a municipal waste and composting diversion facility, handling approximately 17,000 tons of municipal solid waste and over 500 tons of organics per month. Material is carefully sorted for recycling, composting, or waste-to-energy, maximizing recovery and minimizing landfill impact.
