Cogent Continues Its Tradition of Giving Back to the Community

In a strong display of community spirit, Cogent Waste recently donated turkeys to two worthy local organizations: RiseBoroNYC in Brooklyn and New Hope Community Church in Staten Island. Council Member Joseph C. Borelli was on hand for the Staten Island portion of the event, and expressed gratitude for Cogent's commitment to supporting families in need.

As part of its ongoing mission to uplift the community, Cogent Waste has dedicated itself to charitable initiatives throughout 2024. This tradition has deep roots within the company, originating from the values instilled by Cosimo Tristani. As an Italian immigrant, Cosimo recognized the importance of giving back to the community that helped foster his success. His legacy continues through his sons, Anthony and Nino Tristani, who strive to uphold the family commitment to community service and support.

With a focus on making the waste management process straightforward and stress-free, Cogent continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people in Brooklyn, Staten Island, and beyond.
